      Hi,
I have just started using BrainSuite 16a1 for Windows. I am still reading through all the tutorials but so far I have only started using the CES.
Can I export a surface to use in other programs? I tried to ‘save as’ the pial cortex as an .obj file type but when trying to open in MeshLab, an error told me there were no vertices in the obj file.

So. Is there a way to export from BrainSuite for use in other software?

      Thanks.

BrainSuite’s surfaces are in .dfs format which you can load in matlab. Here are the instructions: http://brainsuite.org/processing/svreg/matlab/

There are additional tricks you can find at the end of this post: https://forums.brainsuite.org/forums/topic/standard-surface-rendering-file-formats/

I have never tried this myself but let me know if this works out for you.

      HI,
I am trying to use the 3D surface model for Depth electrode implantation (SEEG) in epilepsy patients, but the .dfs file can not be open in many software, such as 3Dslicer. Is it possible to output NIFTI FILE for 3D model?
