Hello –
You can turn them on/off by pressing either command-x (Mac) or ctrl-x (Windows). We should have it as a menu option, so that it will probably be added to the next release.
There are a number of useful shortcuts here that may also be helpful: http://brainsuite.org/keyboard-shortcuts/
