Hi,

I’m new to this field and I was wondering if the bvecs table is rotated during the registration-based distortion correction procedure. My images are in LAS format and I’ve noticed that for the outputs in RAS, the signs of the bvecs table (I believe for the x-axis) have indeed changed. Is this considered rotation of the bvecs table when registering the DWI series to the anatomical template?

Yes, BDP reorients the volume to RAS format. While performing these orientations BDP applies the appropriate rotations to the bvecs and bMatrices tables.
